Surprise Snow Showers

Salem was surprised today by the amount of snow that showered upon us. Portland was even more surprised! Many commuters were still on the I-5 freeway at 11pm. I'm SO glad we were home safe and sound.

    Luckily we didn't get the snow and ice like last year. There were over 1,000 abandon vehicles up in the Portland area because of the snow and ice.

    I love it when it snows... my husband not so much. As soon as I saw the flakes coming down I hurried the kids out to play in it because being a true blue Salemite I knew it would be gone very quickly. Good to be right :-)
