It's Ruby Tuesday - and it's Mardi Gras too! My favorite city - New Orleans - is celebrating Fat Tuesday. I sure wish we were there. This picture was taken during our trip to NOLA last October. I thought it was the perfect photo for THIS particular Ruby Tuesday! Laissez les bons temp roller! (That means, let the good times roll!)
To see others participating in Ruby Tuesday, click here. The rules are simple, post a picture that contains red - a little or alot! Enjoy!

Nice picture!! Let the good times roll by with Ruby Tuesday :)
Hi. I can't believe that it's almost lent again. Haven't been to new orleans nor have i ever had the chance to experience a mardi gras. It really must be something. Anyway, thanks for visiting my site and for leaving a comment. I hope your friends enjoyed beijing as much as I did.
Hi M.Family [Cindy I'm thinking, it could be J.J.?] -- We like New Orleans, but I'd take San Antonio over N.O. any day. This year our Galveston celebrated with Mardi Gras parades, they have been doing it for quite a while now. The route had to be rerouted because Hurricane Ike damaged the usual route too much and is not repaired yet. It was free as well for this year. Happy RT, thank you for peeking in. ..
I have a friend looking for a song that they played at her Junior prom in 1953. All she can remember is, it was about the Mardi Gras. I told her it would be helpful if she knew some of the words and also who sang it back then.
I love your music! I first went to the cooking one and nearly couldn't tear myself away from the recipes and the music...finally figured I'd better come over here and see your RT and my goodness more great music. Love the sign and ya know...I mighta looked into that job in the voodoo place *wink* I'v never been to Mardi Gras, but have been to NO when it was summertime. Not wise on our part.
I'm very glad you came by my blog in that it gave me the chance to come see yours.
Richard enjoys traveling, spending time on the computer, watching sports on tv, photography, and spending time with family and friends. Currently he and Cindy are very involved in walking for exercise. He goes out on hour walks about six times per week. Sometimes twice per day.
Mama Mulligan
Cindy loves laughing and having fun. Spending time with those she loves is what she enjoys most. Her interests are reading, going to the movies, many tv shows, music, crafting, traveling, gardening, redecorating the house, and photography. This summer she has been learning how to can. Pickles, Green Beans, and Salsa are taking up space in our pantry!
John James "J.J."
John loves movies, computer games, and books. He just graduated from High School and is preparing to enter college in the fall. His goal is to get into the field of forensics. He is really enjoying watching several old TV shows on Netflix; X-Files, Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, and Bones. His favorite place to travel is New Orleans. Beignets are his FAVORITE thing! Well, after STEAK!
Brian is Richard's "first born". He lives in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Wish we got to see him more. We miss him.
Daddy's Little Girl
Here is a beautiful picture of Kristi with her Daddy on her wedding day. She lives in So Cal with her husband Bob. Here's a picture of them below. We sure wish we all lived closer. It would be nice to see them more often.
More Family
John & Sylvia Porter, Cindy's parents. They were married for 45 years. Sylvia passed in '86. John joined her 7 years later.
Jim and Jeane Mulligan - Richards' Parents. We lost them both too soon - and still love and miss them tremendously.
The Mulligan Menagerie
Skittles enjoys watching TV, being fed, and lying on his back while being petted by his family!
Coco is our 'little princess'. She is spoiled and loves to be pampered. Her favorite thing is being loved by her family, and her brothers Oreo & Skittles.
Oreo is a funny boy! He and Coco are brother and sister. He has a crooked tail, and since his legs are short - he kinda waddles. We call him a "Penguin Cat".
One of the newest members of our family. Only 10 weeks old! Presenting Cappuccino
And the other new member of our family. Cappuccino's sister - Espresso.

I'm not sure I would answer a "Help Wanted" sign at a voodoo place! Thanks for your visit and your kind comments.
